How I got into Business Analyst roles?

Here's my story that on how I got into Business Analyst roles 7 years ago.

I spent good number of years as Quality Analyst. Would hit a minimum 75/100 valid bugs in the assigned projects. I used to strongly argue that the requirements weren't captured/documented clearly. Used to question the Dev Team on "What was actually developed?" when requirements weren't clear to them.

My reporting manager Prabhu Sarangarajan and VP Anil Nagaraj recognized my skills and that's how I got into Functional BA roles to act as a Liaison between Stakeholders and IT Team, bridge the huge gap and to make sure projects are delivered successfully keeping Client Satisfaction and Quality in mind.

Also, Vijay Sam helped me out improving on documentation which is one of the key skills required in BA.

I still continue to have passion for testing and find bugs/key needed enhancements on LinkedIn, Amazon, Few Startups etc.. and challenge QA resources even today :)

Now, I train/mentor candidates keen to wear BA Thinking Hat !!!! from my experiences.
