Reading - Read all of the available artifacts, browse through company web portal etc. - Be well prepared for the first interaction with Customer
Listening - Listen very carefully the Needs/Requirements/Pain points from your CustomersWriting - The content in the documents that you deliver should be crisp, clear and concise. Simple and plain English works out very well.
Speaking - Lastly , speak out if the system delivered/built is not as per the specifications. After all a BA acts as a Proxy-Client too.
